Petedge - Blade Kit Review from Highland Park, Texas
Worst experience I have gotten from them. I made an order back on july 10th for a blade kit that i kind of need considerng im a groomer...
And the only time they notified me that the blades were not coming right away was a couple days after that initial order. So i waited for them to notify me that they were coming... Nothing for almost two weeks, so i called. They told me they were on back order and should be in the next day.
The money was taken out of my account the very next day with no email confirmation or anything... And then replaced about 2-3days later. It is now september 22nd and i have called about 8 or more times about these blades and get the same answer, over and over again. Until today when the woman who answered told me that it looks like i had cancelled my order, so they were no longer coming to me and if they were, i would have to wait till october when they were back in stock.
I never cancelled my order, they just took money out of my account on friday and put it back in today.
How does that make me the one who cancelled my order... No emails no nothing from them to notify me of anything...
Pet Edge Return Policy is horrible
I ordered almost $800 worth of products and needed to return a $50 nail grinder (still in shrink wrap and box) and they wouldn't even work with me because I was past the 30 days. No store credit..nothing.
Nothing shipped when it should have and it was back ordered. However, they had their money right up front and I waited. I feel like they could have worked with me on issuing store credit since it was still wrapped up and never opened. Someone needs to review this policy and work with people a little more.
I'll start using Ryan's Pet Supply and not Pet Edge.
I don't want your junk mail
I use King Wholesale only. They actually listen to their customers.
For the past 4 to 5 years I've asked you to take me off your mail list. I've called. I've written. I've begged and I've screamed.
It's to the point of harassment. You are filling my home AND business mailbox with junk mail. 2 catalogues in each, continuously ignoring my countless calls to stop. I am so sick of it that I've been considering taking this issue to court.
I know you know better. I took the liberty of including a photo of today's junk mail from you in my private home mail box despite me pleading with you to stop.

PetEdge.com-a real rip-off!
A friend of mine recommended a product that PetEdge.com carries, Glo Coat conditioner concentrate. (I rescue Great Pyrenees as well as have 2 pyrs of my own.) She recommended getting it through PetEdge.com, as well. I had no problem navigating their website, and checkout was easy. I was a bit put off by their minimum order charge but decided to go ahead because I wanted the product.
I went through entering all the required information to complete the order. Then I saw the shipping charge-$15.63 for UPS ground delivery that would take up to 7 days. Seriously???? Really???? Between the "minimum order charge" of $6.99 and the shipping charge I would pay more for the add-ons than I would pay for the product!
This is ridiculous. I may not be the brightest bulb on the tree, but I am obviously brighter than whoever came up with this rip-off scheme! I will never do business with this company. It might interest you that I was able to order this identical product on Amazon.com for $29.99, including shipping.

Pet edge has changed since they left billricca mass
Very difficult to get orders to me 50% of my order is on back order and arrives in dribs and drabs with no email info so I can track what is coming next. Forget about calling them I am on hold right now since 10:00am it is now 10:20 no person yet.
Money comes out of account but no product info.yet. When I do reach someone by phone they just give a standard excuse for not having product on hand.
The first order I gave them since they left mass was delivered to the wrong address I had to drive 1 hr to pick up my order which was also in 3 different back orders so I had to do this 3 times with no compensation for my trouble. Very poor service.

I drove 1 hour to Outlet store in Billerica Ma, and they closed down. I have gotten 3 catalogs this year so far and not 1 notice of a store closing!
This cost me 2 hours driving, and 1/4 tank of gas! Not customer friendly at all!!!
Online Order Review
After a week I pay and wait for my order I did not yet received the tracking number and at the phone only not qualified people not able to give you an answer and the supervisor told me my order was shipped and email me the number but after an hour I didn't received nothing call and call nobody is telling the true ..where is my money? I will go to a lawyer
Poor business practices
I ordered some accessories for my sister through my checking account. They charged my account 2 x and I ended up with two overdraft fees.
They contacted my bank and only ONE overdraft was returned! So, I had to spend a morning at the bank to make sure that I could get the other overdraft returned. My bank was more than willing to help me. More than I can say about PETEDGE.
Bottom line: they charged my account two times.
Also, the President of the company NEVER returned my call. UNPROFESSIONAL AND I POSTED THIS TO THEIR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Petedge is a scam!
Petedge refuses to assist customers! If you place an order and immediately call for assistance they refuse to help you.
They will ship the incorrect order for you to return to you of course at your cost of shipping to and from. This is because they scam you on shipping prices.
They offer so called savings but really turns out to not be a savings at all once they apply the rediculous shipping and handling prices. Not to mention the *** slaes person on the other line of the customer service line will laugh in your face while being oh so polite as she gets paid to do at her minimum wage loser job!

You still paid shipping. You can get a gallon of Glo Coat conditioner at petedge for $23.99, or for $20.99 if you have a dealer services account.
So at $29.99 and free shipping, you still paid something for shipping. Shipping is free with a minimum order amount, as many large supply companies do, and they also offer free shipping deals by email, if you're signed up for their email announcements. Pet supply stores like the do much of their business with businesses that order a lot of things, and meet their minimum requirements easily. I order a lot with them every month and have never had an issue with them; I even got a deal on shipping when I ordered large, non free shipping equipment.
For small orders under their minimum requirement, one is better off using Amazon or trying their local pet store or Walmart. Also, petedge clearly states on their main page what their minimum order amount is for free shipping, and their shipping information page is pretty thorough.
